Just got off the phone with Kyle at Zincs.com trying to purchase a new anode for my Cutwater. He asked me the name of the manufacturer for the "prop" on my boat. He said he needs this information to determine the type of anode needed for my boat. I thought I had used the D type in the past, but based on his comments, I am now not sure on which one I had previously purchased. Which anode is required for my Cutwater, and who manufactured the prop?
Thanks,
Terry

Below is the information from the last Ranger Tug parts order form I used to purchase zincs.

Description: Prop Zinc (F-1 1/2" MFG-NUT ZINC-F)
Part No. 215302
Cost: $21.45

Sorry that I don't have information on the prop.

I buy the F zinc for the 1 1/2 inch shaft size. Fits perfectly on my C-28. I think the prop was made by ACME.

Thank you, Paul and Martin. You saved me from purchasing the wrong big chunk of aluminum I would have no use for! The cost of shipping it as a return would have wiped out any refund, so I probably would have put it in "that" special box in the garage with the other mistakes I ordered and no use for.
There are a lot of great people on the TugNuts site!!!

Great tip Stuart! Thanks!
It reminds me of the time an "Old Salt" told me to use anti-sieze lubricant on the engine anodes years ago and it made changing them a lot easier. I believe someone could write a book on all the "tips" that makes working on a boat easier and a lot of them would come from the good people on this site. They are always willing to share great tip/information.
