We plan to remedy that by taking it on the great loop!

Our 2017 R-29CB has 812 hours on the D4 300 hp. We try to spend a fair amount of time on the Mshelly J, year round.

Averaging 180hrs/yr on 2020 RT31. Hope to cross 250hrs/yr next year, PNW is too beautiful with so many incredible places to visit!

I bought my 2014 R-21 from the factory with 140 hours on it in 2016. The Volvo engine was replaced as per the recall in 2018 with 600 hours on it.
The new engine has almost 1000 hours as of today.

Update from ALICE J, R 27, 2011 4BY2-180. Hour meter reading is 2611. The LCD engine instrument read out just went blank does not show anything. Called Mastry Marine distributor of Yanmar in Tampa Florida, talked with Doug Denkins explaining the issue telling him that I checked all the connections and fuses and the engine control box mounted on the engine. He concluded that most likely was a defective screen, he indicated that this has been an issue on these engines.
Mase 2.7 generator has 600 hours and is running fairly dependable. At 300 hours I had several issues, clogged oil filter, overheating because of too much engine cabinet insulation, leaking radiator, rusted exhaust pipe due to a bad weld. I have added a blue seas M2 AC multimeter 1838. This helps me keep close tabs on the engine output so I do not overload the alternator which I think is critical on these small generators.

We just returned from a week on the water in our 2009 R25C during which we rolled over the 2000hr mark on out 150hp Mercruiser. Had about 400 hours on it when we started our first season with the boat in 2015. Still turning over.

2016 C30-CB. Purchased the boat last October with 610 hours, currently at 750. 140 hours between October and now, been a busy first year!

I have 102 hours on my 2017 21-EC.

Red Raven is now at 1700 hours.

Misty Blue (2011 C26) showed up 2020.12.01 with 506 hours on her.
Now 22.08.16, 860 hours.
207 hours/year - would be more but for a couple of long shop stays.
Just cruising/commuting - no fishing.

2013 R29 Classic: 1346 hours
Volvo Penta D4 260 hp

2007 R-25 Hull #7, new. Now around 1400 hours.

TOUCAN currently has 1585 hours on the D3 engine. Our maintenance costs are about $10/hour after the recent 1400 hour replacement of the camshaft timing belt. Since the engine had to be removed from the boat, the shop cleaned out and checked the heat exchanger, aftercooler, water pump, starter, etc. and suggested replacing a number of items for long-term reliability in addition to all the filters and fluid changes. After the engine was reinstalled, it needed to be re-aligned to the prop shaft again. The bill for the service exceeded $12k.

This is a super interesting thread. Cause hours are also a function of speed. At 14 Knts - an easy comfortable cruise on an r29CB .. it’s 1/2 the hours for same destination as displacement cruising on say a classic r29. We are all going somewhere.

2008 r25 , 1653 total hours, 136 on repower.
