bow thruster problems

Hello,

My dock line got caught in my bow thruster. I was able to dive down to untangle and free the rope. However, the bow thruster no longer works. I can hear the motor spinning, but it makes a different sound and the propeller does not turn. Any advice?

Most likely the shear pin broke when the line got tangled. That's a good thing, sort of like a fuse protecting the motor. There are several threads on replacing the shear pin, in this case for the bow thruster. Start here.
