Hi, where is the fuse for the fresh water pump on the C-288. The pump no longer works and the tank level indicator (and associated light) do not work either...
Thank you- Junie Bird

I would gladly help, except my boat hasn’t been delivered yet, it failed final delivery testing and am waiting for a warranty replacement sonar transducer.

The c-24 c has a 10a fuse in the fuse box located in the head behind the helm, try there.

The plot thickens... 12v to the brown/yellow line to the switch, switch is good. Ground on tank level (at gauge) good. Direct bi-pass switch with pump isolated from gauge- no go. Tank level not functioning, pump not functioning, light on gauge not working. What is the relationship in circuits between gauge and pump other than power right at the switch?

Thank you

Is there one or two wires coming from the switch? If there is only one, then somewhere there is a spot where it tees off to pump and gauge. Not sure how cutwater does it, but normally it’s wired from one device to the next. I would check to see if there is power at the first device in the chain. It might be wire, but most likely a connector problem. Which is easier to get to, the pump or the gauge.

They have a Brown/yellow that splits behind the gauge to provide power to the pump (switch) and the gauge such that tank level is evident regardless of pump being on. Power to the area and ground are good. Pump does not turn on nor does gauge work. Next step is to isolate pump (at the pump) and add power however, the cabin door and port window leaked significantly in the last wind/rain cycle (both had been 'repaired' a month ago) so boat has to head back to dealer- they can sleuth the pump...

Found the fuse after trouble shooting... in the cave there is a quarter-berth panel (behind a hatch) with a 15a fuse- Guess that information would be in the yet to be seen manual....

Thank you all-

Last I checked, that manual is not coming out anytime soon.

yes, I emailed J. Messmer voicing my frustration.. once again...
