C28 canvas covers

Another c28 at my marina shows canvas covers over the side seats and a cover for over the cockpit ice chest. I have the covers but there are no fittings in those places to attach the covers. Any suggestions.

Hi there,

If you have the covers with snaps already installed on them, you can use them to mark the location of where the "male" snaps will need to go. For the track, perhaps you could ask the owner of the other C28 to see exactly how long they are and how they are installed. Unfortunately we haven't built these boats in several years so don't have any information that we can provide on exactly where they were mounted. Hope this helps.
