Raised the engine room hydraulic hatch today to do some service work and when I went to lower it I had no power at the switch. Also, the cockpit LED and underwater lights are not working at those switches as well.could not find a blown fuse in the helm fuseboxs, looked at the fuse panel underneath the electrical panel and had no luck There. Was able to manually lower the hatch by draining fluid but I am at a loss as to what’s going on. The hydraulic pump to the trim tabs work fine, just seems like there’s no power to these switches. Any ideas?

I had the same issue this summer and it was a blown fuse in the block that is located under the AC panel in the cave. I can’t recall what the fuse was named but I remember it not being intuitive. I looked on the fuse block diagram that came with the boat to locate it. Unfortunately, I won’t Be with the boat until this weekend but one fuse protects all three of those switches. Sorry I can’t be more help!

The fuse should be labeled 3 switch panel. It only powers the under water lights and cockpit lights in my C26 but I believe the deck hatch is also used for this circuit on the C28. It is located behind the carpeted panel at mid berth. It should be a 20 amp fuse.

Thanks for the info, it was the 20 amp fuse on the PDP block behind the carpet. It’s marked panel 3 switch

That’s the one. When I looked for it originally, my head was too narrowly focused on finding something labeled with the lights or hatch and I overlooked it. For what it’s worth, mine blew because I have a compromised wire on my underwater lights so I disconnected the wires from the switch in the back. The underwater lights are set up a little differently than most boats so, this winter, I am going to get rid of them and convert the switch over to some service lights in the bilge.
