Had an alarm, but coolant level was fine. So, false alarm.....is the a sensor for low coolant??

if the sensor is like the D4 sensor; 2 mm's down is enough to trip it out. I can get the alarm to go off by throttling back to idle or tipping the boat from side to side if its close to the limit the sensor is happy with.

I just top it off again a little. with the airpockets in the system between the heater, heater pipework and engine after a coolant change it takes a while to settle down.

I have a C30 and have gotten false alarms on the low coolant, but look carefully at the fill spot. I suggest using a mirror and flash light. It can look full but not be, fooled me, looked full but was down half a gallon due to the 2 stage fill spout.

Hello Davidr,

As stated by others the low coolant alarm can be very sensitive once the coolant level drops close enough to where the alarm is triggered. I would recommend filling the coolant reservoir until completely full and you shouldn't experience any further alarms. If the coolant level continues to drop, then there could be a small leak somewhere in the system that would need addressed.

Please reach out directly with any other questions or concerns.

Thank you,

Tim
