Fluid Motion Model
C-30 S
Vessel Name
Heck or High Water
I have a 2016 C30 and the sending unit does not have any screws holding it onto the water tank. How do I remove the sending unit? Is it threaded into the water tank? Perhaps glued? I don't want to mess this one up so I am seeking guidance.

Thanks!

Bumping post in hopes of a solution. Thanks!

Do you happen to know the part number stamped into the sending unit? Most that I've seen on c30's have always been standard sae screws holding it into the tank.

That being said Moeller who makes the tanks custom for fluid motion could have substituted a spin welded threaded port if they were perhaps out of stock of sae senders. This would accommodate a 1.5" npt style sender to be screwed directly into the tank with no visible fasteners.

I can confirm that this is a KUS / WEMA S5U sender that has threads on the sender itself, no visible bolts.

You will need to make sure its the appropriate size. There are a bunch of part numbers on the top of the sender that code out what the length is.

Thank you both for the assistance!
