Reposting because not sure first one worked
The cabin on our 2021 C30S seems to be loose from lower.
When in rolling seas at idle or stopped you can see/feel the cabin near rear door moving 1/8"- 1/4".
Right where upper cabin meets deck.
Also a loud creaking sound is heard.
Normal?
All bolts and screws seem to be tight.
Can't feel any play at rub rail.
Was thinking of adding through bolts along bottom?
Factory thoughts??

Hi there,

We would pretty much need to see a video of that to be able to understand what's really going on. Since your boat may still be under warranty, I would recommend reaching out to your dealer so they can get involved in the diagnostic process and help with a resolution, should one be required. Hope this helps get you started.

Cheers,

Ralf

Hi Ralph
Of course I am just out of warranty (June).
Will be at the boat next weekend and get a video with sound for you.
Thank you very much for the reply!

Hi Ralph,
Been a while but we finally got the boat back and on the water and was able to get video of the issue.

The squeak comes from where the top part of the boat meets the bottom.
Just below cabin door where it is screwed together from the outside.

You can actually feel the top moving back and forth when it makes this noise.
Typically while not moving and rocking side to side.

Hoping that you can tell me what to do as I do not want a catastrophic failure in the future.

Let me know
Thank you

Hi there,

I'm passing your video on to manufacturing to see what may be done to alleviate the creaking. One thing I can tell you though is that you are not going to have a catastrophic failure. Movement between components is relatively normal. It's just a matter of how much. We'll respond asap.

Thanks!

Ralf

Okay
Looking forward to some info.
Thanks Ralf

Hi Ralf,
Wanted to revisit this so I can make the necessary repair.
Any word from factory yet?
Let me know when you get a chance.
Thanks
