Can C288 be upgraded to Yamaha Helm Master EX?

Hi there,

The Helm Master system is an all-electric system, which would require electric steering on your engines. Your engines are hydraulic steering. It would still be possible, provided you were willing to change engines, but a bit pricey. Hope this helps.

Thanks, Ralf, that helps. Not worth an upgrade. I'll keep working on my pivoting skills.
I am curious if there is a feature on the Garmin (that I have yet to discover) that may help hold my GPS position? This would be helpful for staying on top of fish while jigging, for example.
