Several of mine are not working and I can see that water has penetrated these 'waterproof' LED lights. There are a few threads on the topic, but, I don't see any that state a Hella Part Number for the exact replacement for these white lights. Kindly advise the replacement part number.

Also, the Hella site says the lights have a 5 years warranty. Is that applicable and how to I make a claim for the majority of lights that have failed?

Defender had the best price on the Hella lights. I’ll probably order those even though I like the Seadog ones better since the screw holes are different and I prefer not to drill any new ones.

I had my swim platform ones burn up. We smell smoke and the little wire to one of the light had melted down to nothing. Scared us so we went for a different brand next time. I always thought that Hella was a good brand but the water intrusion showed they are not so great and the smoke finished for me.

JWATSON000,
The red arrows are pointing to the trailering lights. Are you trailering with the plug in the anchor locker plugged into the trailer winch mast pigtail and they aren’t working? Trailering lights amidship on the hull too. All should be working when trailering with plug connected to trailer.

If you haven’t done so yet I’d recommend downloading the R-23 Owners Manual. The answer to your post is on page 8.

Great, thanks for the info and the link to the manual. I'm not trailering it so that's not a problem when in the water.

How does one remove and replace these light? I assumed the black portion is covering the mounting screws but do not see a way to remove.

You use a flat head screw driver and pry the black/white trim piece off. The new ones come with it so it’s fine to ruin it.

Ok thanks

There is no way to remove the covers without destroying them. I use a pick to pry the first one off, then went to a drill and just drilled a hole through that allowed me to get to the mounting screw.
