It took several tries be we were finally able to purchase a coffeemaker that would fit into the space under the microwave on our 2012 C-28 that apparently never had one installed. In examining the space, there is a ~1 inch hole in the left posterior top of the space that I surmise is the conduit for the coffeemaker power cord to the space behind the microwave where it should be connected to 120AC power. I initially couldn't move the microwave from its cubby so I removed all the screws from the top of the space below it. Surprisingly, instead of releasing the microwave, it released a panel that was screwed to the panel that is supporting the microwave. After removing this I can see there are no more fasteners. With a firmer effort I can slightly move one corner of the microwave, but beyond that it will not budge. In order to get the microwave out to get access to the space behind it, will I have to remove the trim strips around the opening in which the microwave is ensconsed - possibly breaking or damaging them? And I suppose the question before that, is there actually a receptacle in that space, into which I can plug the coffeemaker?

Hi Steve,

We haven't built these boats in several years and there had been plenty of changes since yours was built before we stopped. Can you reach out to me at ralfhenkel@fluidmotionmarine.com

I'd like to have you send me a pic or two of what you're seeing so I can jog the memory banks and see what I can do to help.

Cheers!

Ralf
