Wiring bundle immediately forward of engine has 4 disconnected wires.
1. Blue wire, male bullet, "TRIM"
2. Black wire, pink-heatshrinked fem bullet, "TRIM RETURN"
3. Pink wire, end stripped 3/8" bare bundle, "FUEL 1"
4. Black wire, end stripped 3/8" bare bundle, "FUEL 1 RETURN".

No defect in (simple/Bennet) trim tab control. Possibly replaced wiring.
No fuel report on Yanmar display, reports "blank"; fuel sender is clearly working.

Can you ID the above? Advise action?

Figured out #3, #4: these are the signal wires to the Yanmar display at helm - disconnected by tech upon weird failure of Yanmar unit to recognize that signal (fuel level) - and spliced over to a workaround gauge under the hatch. The whole story probably arises from me trying to learn the Yanmar display & pushing something that orphaned the fuel report.
Probably a similar story on #1, #2 but dates back to PO's fiddling.
All 4 wires are dead.
