We are trying to get our boat moved on short notice and need to put it on our beam style lift...

In particular we need the bunk height required to clear the half keel using the 37 inch (innermost) strakes as contact points.

Hoping someone out there has put a cutwater or ranger on a lift and can chime in. We have the factory .pdf but those dimensions are not included.

Thanks!

Have you tried calling the Monroe or Kent factory? You can "private msg" Andrew or Mark. I do know your C 28 weighs @ 10,000 lbs.

Good luck
Dave

Hi Circusmar,

I have a C-28 on a beam style Magnum boat lift.

Attached are two photos that might help. One thing, the photos are of modifications to a 10K lift. I have since modified the lift (cross beams, 2 motors to 4 motors etc.) to a 20K lift. A C-28 fully loaded is probably closer to 11K.

I will PM the photos to you as I cannot figure out how to attach photos to this message.

Hope this helps.

Hi Circusmar,

If you give me an e-mail address I will send you the photos.

Still cannot figure out how to send them via this forum.

Richard: email sent

Corpsvet: Factory very helpful and responded immediately with .pdf showing all lengths and strake widths... unfortunately our lift guy also needs the vertical dimension from the strake to a horizontal that will clear the half keel which is missing from their sheet. Hear you on the weight - we have a 10K lift and will be pushing it but beggars cant be choosers as the saying goes.

I sent the other dimensions out this morning. let me know if there is anything else I can help with.

Thanks

As always Cutwater customer service is the tops!

Ronnie is being modest: he went above and beyond sending out engineering drawings with exact dimensions/bottom profile for our lift guy to use when they make up the bunks.

Thanks again!
