Dometic Heat Pump Manual

Hello- last fall I purchased a 2019 C28 Luxury edition. I am trying to master the heat pump controls. The control is a Dometic model, and I assume the heat pump is as well, but I don't know the model number. I was wondering if there was a manual or something that I could download that would describe all of the settings and controls. Thanks for your help.

Thank you for the post, I bought a new 2019 LE, same issue, I dug thru mid birth to ensure unit is running, the water pump always doesn't push water thru, is this normal?

Yes, the raw water pump isn't strong enough to self prime. You may need to bleed from the strainer if the pump loses it's prime.

I presume you're asking because there's no hard copy manual that came with the boat. I'd call Dometic. They'll want you to describe the controller... lots of downloadable manuals on the support site. Essentially, to program the controller you press the power on button for 5 seconds until the P codes start flashing. The P codes represent programable settings. P01 is the setting for Heat (1), Cool (2) or Auto. (3) Use the temp Up and down buttons to cycle through the selections. I might have the heat and cool reversed... When done, press the power off button. The display with flash the software version then power off.

I found my manual for the heat pump stuffed in front of the coils when I went to see what was causing poor cooling. The manual had not been removed from the unit prior to installation in the boat.
