Hello Steve,
If we make sure the fittings on the top are sealed and not creating water going into the pod, you wont need a pump at all. The Armstrong bracket replaces the small inspection hatch on the top of the pod. It is a matter of unscrewing the one that is there, filling the small holes from the screws with a 5200 and putting the Armstrong back in. The new lid doesn't use any screws and just a clamp down system.
