Not sure if anyone has tried the Globe impellers in the Cummins 150hp. I don't recommend it. I tried and it was virtually impossible to install the impeller without modifying it. The keyway and shaft bore on the one that I got were so tight that you would basically have to have the pump on a bench to get the impeller installed. Imagine working by feel with one hand and having to line it up just perfectly.
Another thing about them is that the impeller was pre-lubricated with what seemed to be a silicone lubricant. It's like working with a greased pig. I put a wire tie on the impeller, compressed it ready to install, and set it down on a table to do something else for a minute. When I came back the wire tie had slipped off and was laying on the table next to the impeller. Being hard headed I repeated that exercise again before I went old school and used a hose clamp in place of the wire tie. Same result :?
Luckily I also had an OEM impeller on hand so I could finish the job.
