I recently bought a 2013 R29 used with only 100 hours.
It came from Port Boat House in Port Alberny on Vancouver Island
I do not have a service record.
Reading your service bulletins I see a recall on the heater hoses. I have checked them out and they look like the ones that need replacing because there is a braid pattern visible. The part number printed on the hose is only partially visible but the number showing beyond the clamp is ?2-0580. 5/8" which is neither the old or the new part number described in the Yanmar service bulletin.
I cannot get the engine registered on the Yanmar site because as other folk have noted it doesn't work. So have no way to know if this hose is safe or not.
If the original warranty has expired is this covered because it was a recall?
Would I be better to deal with the Ranger dealer at Port Boat House or see if the Local Yanmar dealer near the marina where I keep the boat.
I would appreciate your suggestions so that I can be sure that the proper hoses are installed.
