helm station lights

I just got a new cutwater24. The LED lights that illuminate/backlight the names of the function buttons (navigation lights, horn, etc.) are always on. Does anyone know how to turn them off? I have pushed all of the buttons and messed with the breakers. The only way to turn them off is to shut off the house power.

They should turn off when the Nav lights are off. At least thT is how mine work.

They don't, which is why this is so strange. The "name" backlight just stays on. Maybe the factory person knows? Tx, for trying.

Those lights on that model will only turn off with the house switch. I believe they might have changed it with some later models but it doesn't take much power. I think they figured it was easier than having to turn on any switches to find your buttons at night.
