House battery charging underway.

My Lipo batteries are not charging underway. My question is what is the difference between the Balmar guage and the Victron DC to DC charger? The victron says my batteries are being charged but the Balmar does not show a positive amp output. I have the bluetooth apps on my phone for both. I did find a melted 40 amp fuse coming into the Victron DC/DC charger and replaced that. I had taken the boat back to the dealer when I first purchased but he said nothing was wrong. It is only an issue when I am running all day long w/ the AC on. Should I not be able to run a/c continuously w/ engine running. Any help w/ this is appreciated. TY!

The AC unit draws more amps when running than the engine can output. You can run the ac while running the boat, but would want to turn it off at some point to charge the batteries. However, you should see 50 amps coming in from the engine without the ac or anything else running on the inverter side.

Yes, you should see them on Balmar gauge.
