The windlass specs on our R23 cite a 137 lb working load for the unit. How close to that working load is considered acceptable?
It looks like the 1/4 chain is about .75 lb per foot. If I went with 100' of chain and then the rest line would that be pushing things practically? It doesn't seem like it but I have no clue. Water displacement is negligible really so I havent factored that in to my thinking at all, but it would help not hurt.
Thoughts?
