We recently purchased a 2012 C28 and love it. One of our pastimes is fishing. On our first trip we tried to use the Throttle Reduction Valve and it did not work as expected. We either had standard idle speed at 3.9 k or virtually no speed with the throttle reduction knob fully out.

Is there a manual or online instructions available?

Thank you

Hello,

I assume you have the Yanmar engine in the boat? If so, I would reach out to Pacific Power Group 253.854.0505. If it has a Volvo you maybe missing the "low speed" valve which is required to slow the boat down. Hope this helps.

Thanks,
Kevin Lamont

Yes we have a Yanmar 6BY260-2. Thank you for the contact!!

Georgevb,
Did you get that troll valve working? I also have the 6by2 and find the troll feature to be quite finicky. I usually run with the calibration menu open and adjust settings to achieve proper slip.
