Jabsco electric toilet not refilling on 2022 c32 cb

The bowl is not refilling when it should on normal flush cycle or when manually pushing the fill button. It flushes fine. A month or two ago it started spitting sometimes when filling like it had air in the line. Then after not being aboard for 6 weeks it no longer fills. She is stored in fresh non salt river water which is pulled for flush and fills. Anyone know what i need to fix?

check your thru hull strainer for junk, and check your lines, and then check your pump. Is the pump running? if so, check the diaphram for failure. water comes from the thru hull, sea strainer, pump, to the toilet.

I have a similar problem with my Raritan head. I spent some time looking into it last summer and determined that the pump loses prime and thus will not pump.This forum suggested putting a check valve in the line and/or possibly replacing the pump. This condition had existed since I bought the boat in 2018 and I've found a very simple 'work around'. Plus I boat in the ocean, so this simple, no cost or effort solution works just fine and converts my head to a fresh water.

Before using the head we simply pull the sink faucet head out and put the required water into the head. The head empties just fine. Crisis solved!

It's worked for us for 5 years.

Hi Dojo,

You should be able to resolve the issue as dbsea has recommended. It's a fairly simple system, so shouldn't be too much trouble to find the issue. Most likely you have an obstruction in the line or some growth at the intake fitting. Hope this helps for now.
