I recently got a MOB system, which requires a kill switch lead (2 wires) in order to work with my Volvo Penta D6-435 (2016) on my C-30 CB. The cable that came on the boat that runs between the key panel (ignition/start stop buttons) and the binnacle at the interior helm did not come with that 2-wire lead for the kill switch. I purchased a wiring harness (Volvo Penta Part# 21693202) at the recommendation of the vendor (ACR). It has the 2-wire lead for the kill switch and the same connector ends but has a few more additional wires in the bundle than the current one does. Should I be concerned, or can I use this cable?
