MY OBSERVATION

This was an interesting discussion, and I enjoyed reading all of your points of view. Quick question: I just ordered a ‘26 R25, and plan on doing the Factory Delivery Experience next year. Would you all recommend a survey completed in addition to the 2 day factory delivery?

I don't think a survey is needed on a new boat purchase. Your Ranger Tug will come with a 1 year warranty. My recommendation is that you use the boat, a lot, during the first year. In the event something doesn't work right or fails, the factory/dealer will resolve them under warranty. We had several warranty issues on Channel Surfing the first year. All issues were resolved by the factory.

Make sure you get all you're paying for. Have a checklist of all inclusions and verify visually. I purchased a new trailer from them, was assured that the trailer came with uprights by AC, When the trailer arrived in Haines, AK... NO uprights. This is going to make loading the boat difficult for a 73 yr old 🙁
