New Yamaha F350

I’m taking delivery of a new 2025 R-27. I’m trying to purchase the 20hr service kit for the Yamaha 350 in advance. None of the parts websites list the new motor. Does it use the same parts as the F300 for this service?

PartsVu has a link to schematics for V6 4.3L F350s that have the part numbers. There is a page specifically for scheduled service parts. You'll need your serial number or sub-model to get to the specific schematic for your motor. I'd venture that the parts for a 20 hours service will likely be the same across all the variations, though.

The 20 hours is oil change, oil filter change, primary and secondary fuel filter change, and lower gear oil change (use the HD oil).

I would assume the new F350 4.3l V6 to be nearly identical to that of the F300 in parts and service intervals. Oil, filters, spark plugs, thermostats, impellers.... All basic parts. The most confusing part is that there is a Yamaha F350, that's a 5.3L V8, not to be confused with the 4.3L V6 F350 that is based on the F300 4.2L V6.

I’m wondering about the engine oil. Yamalube 10W30 or 20W40 Mineral 4M FC-W ?

10W30 is for most of us. 20W40 is for Florida. (warmer climates).

I figured 10W30 for the cooler climate in the sound but wanted to check in case the F350 specifically called for 20W40.

About to purchase a kit for 20 hour service for our 2024 R27 with 300hp. Do all of you find that PartsVu, mentioned by several of you, is the best and most economical source for Yamaha oil, gear oil and parts?

For online orders I usually use PartsVu but I've a couple of issues with them, such as parts missing from an order or parts shipped that I didn't order. It's been easy to connect to a real human on the phone and they've always taken care of the issue without a problem. I've also had good experiences with Leaders RPM and SIM Yamaha.

However, if you can find a good local Yamaha dealer with a parts department, that's often your best bet.

Thanks for the suggestion. I went to our local Yamaha dealer and learned that his prices are as good as on-line and the advice he gave me about engine care and maintenance was priceless!

I just did the 20 hour service on a new F350. All the parts were the same as the F300. The only change I noticed was the F350 (4.3l V6) has a larger oil pan and thus, is rated to hold more oil. (8 quarts instead of 6). Always fill the oil per the dipstick, not via the label on the side of the motor. But the F350 will take a little more oil than the F300.
