I just wanted to remind everyone that Poulsbo requires a $5.00 reservation fee which is payable before reservations can be made. If you haven't already sent a check please do so if you wish to attend.

Make check payable to:
R.N. Ostlund
2207 19th St.
Anacortes, WA 98221

I also need to know when you plan to arrive at Poulsbo and how many nights you wish to stay.

Bob

I also need to let you know that we will have no meeting area (floating barge) available to us. I apologize for this but I was advised late of the need to reserve.

Robyn and I will arrive early Friday afternoon (10-18) for 2 nights. If needed, we can bring our "EZ-Up" canopy.

Bob you should have our check by now! Claire will arrive Friday and depart Sunday. If we can help in anyway let us
Know. Mark and Beth Ann

Bob,
If you need our help for anything, please give us a call. We are available on Friday night or Saturday to help out

Hi Bob:

We'll be arriving Saturday, leaving Sunday. (Check was mailed last week.)

If we can be of help, please let us know!

Laxey (Gill & Barry) our current plan is to arrive Friday and leave Sunday. Thanks.

Paul, Sunny, Titan, and Luna are planning on arriving on Friday, leaving Sunday. But... It may shift. How long does it take to get to poulsbo? Could be thurs night if our slow tug can make it...

Amstel plans to arrive Friday afternoon and depart Sunday.

Are the dates for the Octoberfest still 10/18-10/20? I believe we are planning to be there in the Honey Badger. That would be four of us for Friday and Sat night. I could come by with the $5 this afternoon or tomorrow after work if you are around.

Joe and Robyn,
We have made arrangements to use a local Yacht Club office for the weekend. The cost is $100.00 for the weekend and Nita and I thought this would make the weekend fool proof weather wise. If you would like to bring your tent, we might be able to use it in the park weather and wind permitting.
Thanks for your kind offer,
Bob

I must report some changes to the activity at Poulsbo. We now do not have a facility available to us that will suit out meeting needs. Jeanese at the marina office is trying to find something suitable for our needs. Possibilities include a coffee shop which indicated we are welcome at their facility at no charge and one other possibility that would charge $150.00. We now have 28 boats that say they would like to attend with one maybe. We have received the $5.00 deposits from 20 boats. 10 boats have given us their schedule as to when they plan to show up and when they plan on leaving, this information is critical.

The following message is from Nita which she wrote before she left on her trip. Depending on the total number of boats we may need some additional help for Friday. I STILL THINK THIS WILL BE A FUN EVENT EVEN WITH SOME OF THE UNKNOWNS. Thanks for all your participation.

Bob

Saturday, October 19:

10:00 a.m. Meet with Jannese at the Gig Harbor Yacht Office where we had the chili feed Friday night. She will go over the scavenger hunt.

(Jannese has put together a scavenger hunt for our group. She has come up with around 7 riddles you will have to solve. Each riddle identifies a store. Once you know the store, you will go there and collect an envelope which contains a poker card. At 2 p.m. we will meet at "Valholl Brewery" and at that time, everyone will open their envelopes. The best poker hand wins a gift basket. As part of the gift basket, the port will be donating a gift certificate for 10 gallons of free fuel.)

5:00 p.m. - We can meet again for drinks and appetizers at the Gig Harbor Yacht Office. Dinner is on your own. You may go back to the brewery or select one of the many restaurants in town.

Valholl Brewery

Every Saturday in October Valholl Brewery will be offering some amazing food from a mobile smoker and will have live music!

The brewery is small and they will have a tent outside to accommodate the overrun of people.

The beer garden is offering:

$5.00 brisket or pulled pork sandwich w/chips

$7.00 with beans and potato salad

$2.50 per Rib so a dinner plate with 2 ribs would still be in the $7.00 range

$3.00 Brats

The beer garden will go from 2-8 or so.. and the music is scheduled from 4-7.

When you respond to this email, please select "reply to all" so everyone knows who has signed up. Also, please remember to bring plates, bowls, utensils, napkins, etc.

Don't forget a name tag if you have one!

We want to make this event simple, fun, and as little work as possible.

See you in Poulsbo.

Bob: Should we respond to Nita's attached Email or wait for an Email to arrive in our Inbox ?

You guys have done a marvelous job... can't wait to hook up with every one.

Bob and Nita,

Mark and I will bring dragon's breath chili for 10.

We plan on arriving early Friday pending weather so we would be more than happy to assist in any way.

Please let us know how we can help.

Looking forward to a wonderful time in Poulsbo!

Mark and Beth Kristek ( Hope and Gracie too ) 😀

Rick and Becky (Y-Knot) are driving up after work, so may not arrive until later. We will bring a desert. Bob and Nita, thank you, as always, for setting this up.

Bob: We are planning on arriving Friday and leaving Sunday. Thanks, Doug Jones, Allotrope.

Two for the Road (Mark & Linda ) will be arriving on Friday and departing on Sunday. We will bring dessert for 10 people.

Hello All,
As of now we have twenty-one who have submitted a $5.00 deposit to reserve a moorage and eleven have given me the information about how many nights they will stay. This is critical information for the Marina so please submit your plans and deposit as soon as possible. We also need your offerings for food on Friday. So far we have "Two for the Road" will bring a dessert, "Claire" will bring Chili, Y-Knot (now boatless) Dessert, and Nita and I will bring Chili. Friday night will be held at a local restaurant's room, bringing alcoholic beverage will not be allowed but we can purchase it from them (this makes sense). Saturday morning we are invited to the local coffee shop. I think this is looking to be more organized. Looking forward to seeing everyone there.
Bob
