Subject: Photo Album for 2019 R29 CB being bottom painted
Today I had the opportunity of visiting the Everett Yacht Services where my new R29 CB was having its hull bottom painted. It was a glorious sunny clear blue sky day with ambient temperature at around 68ºF and in the sun a good 70ºF+.
I managed to capture a bunch of photos and created a Photo Album which I share here.

In the yard was a CW30 and a R41. Both looked awesome in their own right. 🙂 However, my attention was purely focused on my new R29 CB. I took several photos unrelated to the bottom painting activities. Some show the 'gear' (wires, tubes, connections) under the Command Bridge's helm which normally are difficult to see, but having hatches in the floor of the Command Bridge allows clear visibility of the underside of the Bridge's helm. I also took photos with me leaning slightly over the side of the command Bridge helm area to show how well it is to see the side of the boat from bow to stern; important when docking. I'm very pleased with the water draining aspect for any water amassing on the Command Bridge's flooring area. At the top of the stairway to the Command Bridge there's some nice non-slip strips to help avoiding shoes or feet from slipping around in wet conditions.
Note the island V-berth mattress is in three sections. This will IMO make it easy for moving/lifting/removing the cushions vs. there being two large mattresses. I also love the new fabric color design for the cabin seating.
My R29 CB will be trailered to the RT Kent factory later this week after the hull bottom painting has been completed. At the Kent factory the boat's final fittings, QA and its graphics will be completed and then hopefully will be delivered to my Edmonds Marina next week (maybe Wednesday Mar 27) for the start of the 2-day training activities.
My only wish that I forgot to ask RT for was for having a 110v outlet near to the V-berth's located TV on the port side. This would have been useful for powering my Apple TV (ATV) Wi-Fi unit for streaming photos and video from my Apple laptop, iPhone and iPad. Not having a 110v outlet near to the TV will mean laying a power cable from the starboard side of the V-berth's 110v outlet over to close to the TV and the ATV. No big issue, but would rather not have to do this.
Looking forward very much getting this boat into the water... 😀
