Any thoughts of using a pontoon mount to bolt through the rear pod on the port side to mount a powerpole for use when at the sandbar?
Is the structural integrity there for it? I assume so since people put kickers there, but figured id ask.

We have never done that and do not know what kind of stress it might put on the boat. The decision would be entirely up to you.

A 23' swim step with a kicker is designed to support the kicker. However, we are unsure how a power pole might affect the swim step and cannot predict what issues could arise. I would anchor and tie off the aft section. Use the port and starboard aft cleats to secure the boat and minimize movement.

That's my normal method in my last boat which didn't have any way to do a power pole(jet boat) just looking to minimize the amount of stuff I had to carry with a second anchor.

Being in northeast Florida we have a lot of shallow waters we hang out in so it would be advantageous but I'm not looking to break off the pod
