I noticed on my 2019 R23 there is a NORTH SHORE SAFETY reset/test button panel located near floor on the back bulkhead of the cave berth. Occasional I have noted that after plugging back into shore power at the slip, I have to press the reset button on the panel to get house power. Any clue why this is happening and how can I avoid this from happening?

Hello. I have a 2018 R-23 but I don’t see this reset/test button. Can you post a picture of it?

Our 2018 R23 doesn't have that panel and our AC panel is different too. So sorry, I can't help you.

In order to see the image, just copy and paste the link after beginning with https: to your browser.

We always have to reset the switch after plugging into shore power. Seems to be a safety feature. We did have an issue on our 2019 R23 with the shore power connector at the pedestal was worn and wouldn't make a good connection unless we had the plug in the right spot. It keep tripping that device. I had the marina replace it and problem was solved. Hope that helps.
