R27 OB head faucet

I have a 2023 R27 OB and I may need to replace the cartridge for the head sink faucet. While the faucet looks like a Grohe Essence single hole single hand S-size (23592ENA), it does not have any branding logo or markings.

Would you be able to provide or verify the make and model of the head faucet on our R27 OB? Our hull # is FMLT2713G223, if that helps.

These cartridges may be fairly standard, but I’d like to be sure. I appreciate your help and response.

Jared, I just corresponded with ITC. The head faucet has a revised product number: 97836-NI-A. Unfortunately, there are no replacement parts available for it. This means that one cannot replace the valve / cartridge. One can only order the entire faucet assembly from itcshopnow.com via phone only (616-330-4497). The new faucet costs $129.99.

Our head faucet has only one season of service on it and is now beset with very low flow and a delayed shut off. My experience tells me that the faucet is most likely not defective, but rather clogged with the mostly unpreventable plastic shavings from the water tank. While I am told that one can easily access the screens in this faucet, I don’t want to attempt without a schematic so that I don’t create a self-fulfilling replacement scenario. ITC will try to email me the schematic and installation instructions, but I am not banking on their ability to do so.

Our dealer, Winter island Yacht Yard, will most likely be able to help. However, it will be a month before we are able to get to their yard for some scheduled upgrades and minor warranty work.

Anyway, thank you for your help. I really do appreciate it. While this is really a very small issue, it is a nuisance: ah, but life will go on!
