Ranger Tug 38

Carefull here, I asked the same question some months back, and my post was taken off the forum as the subject was top secret. But, perhaps there is now something out there for consumption.

Well, I would like to know. We love our Ranger but we need to go bigger and the 31 is not wide enough for us. We need something a little wider and longer. Any updates on this?

Well, let's start the Rumors...

I heard it's going to have a 15 foot beam. 😱

Ohhhh, tell me more!

We too are looking to move up. Heard there will be nothing larger in the next few years.

Well if we are gonna dream about this, I am just gonna build my boat right here. Something with a beam between 13-15' A LOA less then 38' with a nice size head and the sofa/dinette open open's with queen size bed.

and one switch that will flick on the wind shield wipers so they can work together instead of so off beat . My ocd just kicks in when the wipers go on. lol

I heard the dingy for the R-38 will be the R-21 EC! 🙂

I have been told by a trusted source that it will be rolled out later this year, They already have orders for a half dozen. in $600k range, 2 heads, wide beam, whole nine yards. Can't remember all the details because I was trying to angle for a Cutwater 38!

Would love to see a Cutwater 32 or 34 to compete with the popular Backcove and Sabre. Going from C28 to C30 just doesn't add enough

I have it under good authority that the new 38 will have a 14' beam, 2 staterooms (as already noted), washer/dryer & will be the "new" tug style.

I was told it would look like the R29 S on steroids. 🙂

Sounds good. Did you get an ETA?

This was back in the fall and I believe that introduction was going to be Q3 2017 or so.

I wonder how many engines it will have, 1 or 2?
