i found a review of the R29 giving a chart for fuel consumption of its 260HP engine here:
http://www.newboats.com/article/-/Ranger-Tugs-R29
however it is twice the HP of the ranger i am most interested in buying: the R25 [or possibly R27]. in addition to engine cruising data, am interested in estimating how much auxiliary fuel i would need to extend the range to do the shortest transatlantic leg [prob. from Canada-Greenland-Iceland] needed to cross the pond, if additional aux tanks would be needed to carry [when the aux tank on the generator is not enough]. the R25 is probably the sweet spot in fuel eff. & speed, but has only 80 gallon main tank for its 150HP yanmar diesel. will keep looking for more data [boat reviews, mainly] and hope the factory can find time to respond with info and rec. & appreciate any add. info posted my way. regards, fritz.
