Our Webasto is showing the E-3 error message. Still under warranty so Webasto will provide a replacement unit.
Our local technician is wondering how to remove the old unit and replace with new. Anyone have experience with a similar problem?
It seems like there are three ways to remove the old unit:
1) Straight up through the hole under the helmsman's seat removing the whole thing in one piece.
2) Disassembling part of the old unit (the blower or intake vent cover, for example) before removing through the hole in the helmsman's seat.
3) Removing the old unit through the end of the helmsman's seat, by first removing the microwave and the wood panel.
Anyone had this work done and which method was used?
