Rudder grease

I saw a posting asking about grease zerk fitting location for the rudder, on a ranger. Thought I'd look for mine on the Cutwater 30. I can't find one. Is there one and is grease maintenance needed for the rudder?

Hi Kip,
Yes there is a zerk fitting on the 30 Cutwater Rudder. I would recommend a good marine grease and it should be greased at least once a season.

Thanks Ronnie. I found the zerk fitting. I really worked to get any grease into it. Like other posts, it seems to be full, with no bleed out. What is the correct procedure for regreasing? Just pump hard to make sure it's full or?
