My wife and I live in Northern California but keep our R31 in Anacortes. This coming summer, we plan to launch Emmy Lou and cruise for June, July, and August. Most years, we bring our Airstream trailer with us so that we can do some land explorations after we cruise. With three dogs, it also makes life much easier than trying to do pet-friendly motels.
The reason for this post is where to put the pickup truck and 30-foot trailer while we're out on the water. The storage facilities I've called are either full up, won't take reservations until two weeks before our launch date, or there isn't much security at their spot.
What we are looking for is secure storage for three months. We don't need electricity, just the site. Of course, we will pay for this. Where we leave the truck and trailer doesn't need to be Anacortes, but something reasonably close. If any Tugnuts have a solution to our problem, please PM me and we'll talk.
