Yesterday, while cruising just above idle, we heard a thunk just outside our open starboard window. When we pulled up to the dock we found that the window had fallen out.

It turns out that the frame has become detached from the fixed part of the window and the weight of the open window allowed the frame to sag, releasing the top of the window from the upper groove. See the photo.

Has this happened to anyone else? How should I repair this? Obviously, I need to get a new window and reattach the frame. Where can I get the window and the adhesive foam gasket?

To follow up on this: Customerservice@fluidmotionmarine.com responded to my request that I sent to parts@fluidmotionmarine.com asking for a photo. I supplied them with the requested photo. I have not heard back from customer service. I also submitted a request to fluidmotionparts@marinedepotdirect.com. They replied, saying it would take them 3-4 months to get that part into their system. I hope I don't have to go the the Roche Harbor rendezvous with our starboard sliding window still missing.

$3900 to buy a replacement sliding window? This is unbelievable. Come on Fluid Motion, how do you expect to keep customer loyalty with this?
