I have a 2010 R25 SC and our current solar panel is a 130 Watts panel with 15/75 Victron MPTT controller. Just wondering what the newer 25/27 models have as far as solar panel goes?
We can easily do 2-3 days on solar alone using lead-acid batteries. But with the added cell phone/tablets charging, I have assessed that 130 watts and lead-acid batteries are not sufficient.
Some might recommend going to lithium batteries, but in Canada, unless you use the boat for more than 6 months (combined between weekends and summer holidays), the cost is prohibitive.
So just wondering what the Factory is outfitting the new boats with solar panel, so that I can ball park what the upgraded panel should look like.
Cheers,
