Stern thruster quit working

2019 c28. Stern thruster quit working, I’m getting a large voltage drop when engaged and the thruster works when you apply a new 12v directly to it. My assumption is a bad wire, what gauge of wire runs back to the thruster from the thruster fuse block?

Hi there,

That might be an issue with the relay. Not sure what the gauge is, but you can check continuity on the wire to make sure it is not an issue.

I diagnosed it down to a bad IPC control box. I replaced that, and I had a working thruster both directions, that quit after a couple short uses in the span of an hour. Any ideas?
