On my 2016 C30CB I have observed, in full, direct sunlight, my Remote Meter saying that the panel is putting out more than 30 amps. I know that a 140 watt panel can only put out a max of 11.66 amps @ 12 volts. So, factory guys, why is the meter registering such an outrageous number? I have run thru all the different settings for the meter, but nothing alters the reading. Perhaps I need a tutorial......or possibly something needs resetting/rebooting?

my advice, is to first reset the meter. Unplug the cable for the remote screen from the controller wait and then reconnect.

then check the actual voltages with a multimeter and see if they match. check both the input side to the controller, the output side and at the batteries. THis will give us clues as where to go next

Also ensure you are on the right screen for the remote meter and showing current amp/h and not max or totals. ive found that remote a little finicky to use sometimes.

I also had my remote go bad and start showing erronieous data. fixed by plugging in a new remote unit.

I have the same problem. My monitor shows 33 amps two days ago, and is always a big number if it is sunny.

I've decided it is all relative, so am happy when I see it. It means, "I'm working well and charging."

One other thing to check is which screen you have selected. Perhaps you are looking at total amp hours?
