Trailer Height Cutwater 28

I need the total height for a C28 on a trailer. Could something be removed easily to lower the height?
It might be good to post the heights for all the Cutwater boats for other owners.

Trailered height is 13'3" with the mast folded down.

The issue of posting a "height on trailer" becomes a liability problem. The factory can supply a trailer. You can source a trailer locally. Each of those trailers may be slightly different rails/tires/suspension, resulting in a different height.

We bought a 5th wheel RV from a very conscientious dealer years ago. I discussed the "bridge clearance" height with him, and he said, "We will measure it before you drive it away - our standard procedure." Hooked to the truck, our stuff loaded, hitch adjusted for the 5th wheel to be level, it came out 2" different from what the manufacturer specified. He said, "There may come a time when that 2 inches is significant."

If you are looking to clear a garage-type door, allow yourself extra room... some doors don't open to full extension (i.e. the door rails are actually shorter than the door opening. Plenty of variables there, too.

When you do get a number (from the factory or another owner) consider that "approximate."

Hi Rich,
The height of the 28 Cutwater on the EZ loader trailer is 13'2". This is the height with no fuel or gear in the boat. I hope this helps, just remember that this is a measurement that we do here at the factory and it may change depending on your loading and the type of trailer you get.
