transferable hull warranty

Greetings Cutwater guys,

I'm looking into buying a 2013 Cutwater 28. When I ran a boat history report it came back with a potential for transferring a hull warranty. Might be good for ten years. Do you have any details on this? First, is this really true? Second, if true, what is the process for transferring that warranty?

I was just past the five years so it didn't apply for me. If you are under the five years I think it van be transferred.
