Of course it all depends on where you drilled, but the hole should be visible through either lazarette, depending on which side you drilled the hole. Pro tip: you can use the trim tab mounting screws as a reference point that will give you an idea where your hole will come out. You can see them if you look straight aft through the port lazarette (for example) this will give you an idea how far up you can see when you look aft. You can also have someone shine a flashlight through the hole from the outside and see where the light becomes visible. Hope this helps.
