My dilemma. Boat is moored with starboard side along the dock. Water from the A/C Heater and dehumidifier discharge on the starboard side, thus when systems are running, the discharged water hits the dock and splashes back on the boat. While not a hazard or safety issue, I can't imagine 4-5 months of splash back being good for the finish.
There is one real easy fix. Back into the slip so water discharges away from the dock. However, we like having the aft deck facing the harbor rather than the dock. So this is not a preferred solution.
Is there some material that could be attached to the dock that will absorb the discharge water and prevent back splash? I tried 3" memory foam, failed that splash test.
Is there something else that might work?
