I have a water leak when water hose is hooked up or when use water pressure for sink or shower, had about 20 gal of water in bottom of boat in 1 day.

Any help where it may be coming from ?

I would start at hot water heater in aft storage locker and make sure connections are tight under pressure. Work forward check faucet connections at sink. Pull panel in v-berth starboard side under wiring compartment. This will give you a view down starboard side of hull and you can see the fresh water inlet (city water connector) make sure connection is not leaking when hose attached under pressure. If culprit will need to come in through a cabinet by cutting inspection panel or remove connector from outside and it will lift out. If hose is off fishing out will be fun.
While panel is off you can also look at the one way check valve on output side of pump and check all hose connections at valve and pump. Pump accessed by removing engine heater under helm station.

If this is only happening when you hook up water at a dock, first check your inside connection where the water hose hooks up inside the boat. This has been an issue on many of the boats. It is a bit difficult to get to. I have seen access on my R-27 if the stove is removed. Others who have experienced this may have a better way.

I recall Andrew telling me a year back that Ranger has stopped installing these city water hookups as they are notorious for failing because the city water pressure can be too high and cause water leaks as described here.

Because of those words from Andrew I refuse to connect any city water to my R-25. I simply fill the fresh water tank when needing more water.

99% of boats in the marinas have dock water hooked to them and leaks from that do not seem to be a topic of conversation in my experience.
99% of RV's in parks have city water hooked to them.
Ranger maybe needs to have an RV engineer redesign the water system for them.

If too much water pressure is the issue, then purchase a $10 water regulator at the RV section of Walmart. This helps reduce the water pressure entering the hose at the faucet.

My experience has been to never hook up water supply without a regulator. One blown connection from potential high pressure isn't worth the cleanup.

We had our city water connector crack and spray water all over the back inside of the sink area in our new 2012 before 50hrs and had never used it -- the things appear prone to fail from the start!

Thank you guys so much for the input, I will check it out.

We recently had the city water connector fail on our R25, and after taking a few minutes to think about the connector it became somewhat clear as to what may have created the issue. The Jabsco city water connector used on our boat is not only a connection point but also a pressure reducer and I also have a pressure reducer at the dockside water tap. However, what I found was the Jabsco hose connector is nothing more than a press fit and if the hose does not have some free play to compensate for natural rocking motion of the boat at dock it (metal hose connector) works itself to a point where it will pop out. When I replaced the city water connector used a 90 degree elbow on backside (internal to boat) and dual hose clamps instead of current 1. Plus I make sure there is sufficient free play in hose at external connection.
