Had shore power issues causing house breaker to trip multiple times. Power cord was loose at dockside power outlet. Resolved issue ,restored power to boat. When I tried to turn on water pump at house panel no result.-no water pressure. Also no main cabin lighting. All outlets were good. Also no raw water pump when selected.
Any ideas where to troubleshoot shoot /restore pumps/cabin Lighting?
Thank you,

Hi Geroge,

I'd begin with checking the fuses. The fuses for the water pumps are on the PDP fuse panel in the q-berth electrical cabinet. The washdown fuse is the second one from the top right (yellow 20amp) and the freshwater pump is directly below that (red 10amp). The cabin lights are, you guessed it, the next fuse right below that (another red 10amp). Check these and let us know what you find. Not sure why they would all pop at the same time, but it would be an interesting coincidence, indeed.

Cheers,

Ralf

Hi Geroge,

If the batteries were recently disconnected for any reason (changed, etc.) I would start with making sure all connections are solid and in their proper locations. The refrigerator is a 12V appliance, along with the lights and pumps, so that would not be affected by any 110 issues. Perhaps there is something wrong with the refrigerator itself. Are you getting any 12V power? Is there an issue with the rotary switch?

Hi Ralph,
Mystery solved. All units on the PDP FUSE BLOCK IN QUARTER BERTH were not receiving power. Traced back to the 50A fuse block breaker. Breaker was tripped, reset and power restored, all systems back up The fuse block breaker does not look like your standard breaker and the reset requires the thin tab on side of block to be pushed down to reset. Located in the starboard cockpit step.

Sounds perfect. Glad you found it!
