Obviously, the only way to get the true weight of your boat is to have it weighed on a commercial scale.
Fluid Motion’s published dry weights have been notoriously lower than the real world weight of boats equipped for real world use.
Our 2009 R-25 was a full 2,000 pounds heavier than its published dry weight when stocked for cruising and with minimal fluids in the fresh water, black water and fuel tanks. Actual cruising equipped weight averaged 7,600 to 7,750 pounds vs published dry weight of 5,700 pounds. Add our Tuff trailers 2,000 pounds to the boat weight Kent we were towing 9,600 to 9,750 pounds.
Out 2017 C-28 is also 2,000 pounds heavier than its published dry weight when stocked for cruising and with minimal fluids in all tanks. Actual cruising equipped weight, as measured on a commercial scale, has ranged between 10,000 to 10,300 pounds vs its published dry weight of 8,000 pounds. Adding our EZ Loader’s weight of 2,200 pounds means we are towing between 12,200 to 12,500 pounds.
All our weights on the scale don’t included any crew weights of course.

I weighed my C 242 in 2022 on certified scales coming back from Florida and it weighted 7705 lbs with an double axle aluminum trailer and 1/4 tank of fuel and little gear. It also had about 860 lbs of tongue weight.

So the trailer was give or take 1200 pounds I assume.....and maybe 400 in gear and fuel .....so 6100-6200 and that includes engine of course. That's about right on the official spec weight then.

I would that is pretty close. Supposedly my trailer weighs 1300 lbs according to Ventures web site. I weighed my trailer at two different scales and went off the heavier of the two. The other certified scales where about 3-5 percent less.
