Andrew ,my starboard wiper motor is red hot
And will not cool down. I tried to take it apart and disconnect but I stopped and was unable to disconnect it
I only took delivery on 4/22/16. Do I need a new wiper motor ?
I would be willing to try and replace myself but I'm not confident given t could not fiqure out low to disconnect the bad one
 
Sounds like the motor may be jammed and is getting power provided by the park circuit. See what happens when you remove the park circuit fuse. On some of the earlier tugs with the standard wipers the park circuit fuse was way to large and the motor burned out before the fuse would blow.

Right on top of problem and resolving it ASAP
 
Took delivery 11/16 on 30 Cutwater CB. Problems with both wipers. Port intermittent since new. Now inoperative. Starboard now intermittent.
