The port wiper motor on my '16 C30 has worked sluggishly from day one. It always seemed to struggle, while its starboard companion cleared the other side of the windshield effortlessly. Recently, the sweep reduced down to only about 15-20 degrees. I was wondering if anyone knows if this is adjustable? Failing that, does anyone know the brand and model of the wiper motor used on the Cutwater 30's with the idea that I can visit the manufacturers website and figure out if it's user adjustable...or repairable?

Thanks in advance for any help.

They are adjustable. But if the sweep angle has changed over time as you suggested, something isn't right. Something is loose, has slipped, etc. Though seemingly trivial, problems with those motors can cause a fire or at least give you a good scare. I'd stop using it until you sort it out.

The problem sounds similar to one I had on mine. The wiper motor was made by Imtra. It is located inside the bulge, behind the bow speakers. Take out the speaker to get to it. There are adjustments that can be made for the sweep on the motor. In my case the screws were loose and I was getting all sorts of erratic things, from no motion, to slow, to short sweep, etc. All is well now.

Good luck getting to it. Pretty much have to work blind through the speaker hole. I don't think the adjustments can be reasonably made with the motor removed. Imtra was helpful. You can call them and they do have a procedure to share.

Thanks for the helpful input guys. As a follow-up, the motor is made by Roca, a Swedish company, and distributed in the US by Imtra. It looks to be their W12 model and there is a manual on the http://www.rocaindustry.com website that provides good information, including adjusting the sweep. I popped the speaker out and took one look at the machinations that would be required to make those adjustments  and decided to let my dealer deal with it.
