Zincs on 2014 Cutwater 30 sedan

Factory team. I have a C30 2014 sedan. It has been on the hard since November. I have yet to have it in the water. This spring I will have it bottom painted and figure I should have the zincs replaced. I will use the boat mostly in the Chesapeake Bay.

Could you please let me know how many and where the zincs are and what you would suggest for bottom paint. I bought the boat from the original owner in Florida

Hello Ed,

On your C-30 you should have a prop zinc right behind the Engine propeller, you have the bow and stern thruster zincs right behind the thruster prop, you might have trim tab zincs right on the trim tab plates, you might also have a transom zinc which will be located on the outside transom under the swimstep area, I will say on your STBD side closer to your trim tab plates. please note that the transom zinc and trim tab zincs are option, so you might not have this ones. You should also consider checking your engine anodes. you might check your engine manual for location. or send me an email too and I can guide you.

We use Sea Hawk AF 33 for bottom paint on the Pacific North West. I would recommend you to see your local paint shop for paint recommendations upon your area.
